I have to go into work tomorrow. Is there something i can put on it tonight to make it clear up or almost clear up by morning.?

No - not that quick. You need to take the day off and go to doctor and get prescription for zovirix. It will work in about 2 days, and will stop the sore before it is thee if you put some on as soon as you feel that strange tingle. Then make sure you keep the tube somewhere where you can remember and always get a new prescription before that tube has run out. Then you never have that "sore" anxiety again.

For over the counter help I recommend Lycall ointment. It contains Lysine which I have found most effective for non RX.
For the best treatment I'd suggest get a prescription of Denavir from your dentist or doctor. That takes care of cold sores in one day especially if you can get to them fast enough. I keep some on hand.

No not that fast. You do know you have Herpes, right? I hope so. There are many over the counter meds, but you need to take the day off and go to the dr. get some valtrex (just saw commercial) there are probably others too

You can try abreva but you have to buy it at eh drug store and it isn't cheap. Then you can try some vitamin E. Open the cap with a pin and squeeze it out and put it on the sore. Try some vaseline and sugar, rub to get off excess junk without irritating it. Good luck.

You can go to your local drugstore and get some "Campho Phenique", it's for cold sores and fever blisters I know because I have one and is currently using it. Or stick to the old remedy and use ear wax I know it's gross but it works.....

you need that valtrex for herpes breakouts and to keep it in check
i know some chick that gets herpes sores real bad and cannot get dates or anything.. she took valtrex and she's out all the time now cuz she has not had an outbreak in ages.

CARMEX!!!! get carmex and don't let ayone else use it because you need a lot of it if it is big already. if it has just started or you know your getting one put carmex on the spot frist and then the other parts of your lip.
