It really depends on who broke up with who and what the reason was for.
If he broke up with you and is coming back, what all did he do since you broke up, was he out testing the waters again, has he done this before, etc.
You on the other hand, don't want to get all involved again and then he breaks up again with you. He starts being a little untrustworthy and definitley not helping you to feel secure as love should.
Only you can really make the decision because you are the only one with all the details.
