THANK YOU!!!
How can one burn in hell if they have no body???
It's ridiculous that in the year 2007 people still believe that tripe.

We speak of what we believe to be the true word of God found in the Holy Bible.
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,
Does a spirit have eyes?

We do go to heaven or hell after death, but, where did you hear that we will not have bodies? Our bodies are brought with us up to heaven or hell. The bible doesn't give alot of clear detail about the after life and what the details are going to be. We do know that the after life will be better or worse then what it is here on earth.

We speak of torment in hell because hell IS torment for those who deny Christ; those who are not saved by God's grace and mercy. If you repent of your sins to God and ask Christ to come into your life, you have nothing to worry about. "Personalization' is the wrong approach when talking to people about hell because God shows no respect of persons (favoritism). Hell is a place for ALL who are without salvation in Christ - ALL unbelievers. It's not a matter of being 'personal'. An unbeliever's soul is tormented in hell.

What would one have to fear about hell otherwise? My understanding is that many Christians, or at least the traditional ones talk about a bodily afterlife, for people going to heaven, too.

If something is bad would you not like to know why? If you are on a one way trip to hell we want you to understand why so you have a chance to stop the bus and go back.

There will be both a resurrection of the just and unjust.
Acts 24
14But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: 15And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Ah ha... a thinker among us. I've wondered about this too. How indeed could one feel pain in Hell when pain is a signal from our brains to us in our bodies (both of which are dead and don't go anywhere after death except, according to Christians, our "souls/spirits").

After Jesus was resurrected He ate fish and a honeycomb with His disciples.
What makes you an expert on the spiritual bodies?

In heaven and hell you have spiritual bodies, and you do feel. Just that in hell you feel torment and in heaven you feel joy.

Traditionally, heaven and hell are both experienced in the resurrected body.
I don't believe in hell, though.
