When your girlfriend leaves you out of the blue. Within a week you find out she's dating another man, that she met online and his number use to show up on the phone. She tried to delete it but the bill shows it. To me its considered cheating to build a realationship with somebody else while your already in one. What do you think. And whats the best way to recover?

The best way to recover is to stop worrying about what she did. You can't control other people. Only yourself.

The relationship is over. You need to tell yourself that this is a good thing. You enjoyed it while it lasted (otherwise you wouldn't miss it). So you are still enriched by it, even if it is no more.

Think about what you might have done better. Then think about who you'd like to try to do better with. ( :

Best way to recover is to move on and stop caring what she has done, its over with thats all that needs to be said. But yes building a relationship with someone while in a relationship with another is cheating unless the two of you were not in a commited relationship

YES! It is cheating. The best revenge is to let them have eachother, and for you to live well. You move on, take some time for you, be around good friends & positive people. Dont give her the satisfaction of ruining your life now, or later on. Believe me, you will be fine and you are better off without someone like that. In a year, when you run into her & you are with your new hot (and honest, normal, thoughtful) girlfriend, she will probably regret it. Odds are that if she did this to you, she will do it to him too, or her to her. Relationships started on a base of lies wont last. Good Luck!!

I don't think it's cheating if she at least had the balls to break it off with you before dating the other guy. At least she wasn't double fishing. Most people don't even have the decency to do that. There are a million suggestions for recovering but in truth you'll really only get over it when you fall for someone new yourself, and it'll happen, it's inevitable.

Your girlfriend was never really with you. She's been having a relationship with someone online, and then "out of the blue", she's out of your life. You saw no signs? She wasn't totally committed to you, or she wouldn't have been chatting up the online dude. Not fair, no...but then life isn't always fair. Just be thankful you weren't married at the time. She wasn't happy with you, or she wouldn't have done what she did. Get over it. Get over her...she's so not worth your time or effort. The best way to get over it is to date other people...maybe even let her see that you're not wallowing in your "grief".

I would say it is definitely a good plot for cheating. So, I would say, move on. Drop this one and find the other fish in the sea. There is no reason anyone should have to fight tooth and nail for somebody else when they are forming relationships off to the side.

She left you. Did she leave before or after she started dating the other guy. Sure, I think you should be a little offended that she did that to you, but if she's already gone, then it's over right?
Quit dwelling on the past and move on, but if she decideds to come back, then go ahead, feel free to tell her she cheated on you, as for now, leave it alone and MOVE ON.

Yeah its cheating. Obviously she isn't having a hard time getting over you since you has been probably seeing this guy for some time. Best thing to do is go out and find yourself a new g/f

Yeah, it's cheating if you had an "understanding". Recovery? Grieve and go ahead and feel sorry for yourself. Those feelings will help you in the long run. Then, there is a saying I kinda like, "Living well is the best revenge." So, live well.
