I have been dating my boyfriend for six months and about a month ago my boyfriend started telling me he loves me. My question is, why does my boyfriend not tell me that he loves me everytime we are together. When he tells me that he loves me, I of course tell him that I love him too, because I do. I just wonder why he doesn't say 'I love you' everytime we are together. I just assume that he loves me by the way he treats me, but it would be nice if he verbally said it more often than just every once in awhile. Is this normal???

This relationship is normal. Lucky you have someone who loves you and isn't afraid to show it! But on the other hand he might be scared that he would run you away if he said it too much. Some people don't like hearing "I Love You" everytime they see you because it becomes annoying and like its their obsession to tell you that. Sometimes its good to work with what you have beacuse you might not want it later.

You answered your own question. Love is a word that has a strong meaning to it. It becomes meaniningless the more you use it. So, say it wisely. Love is a beautiful thing when you find it. Take care.

As long as he treats you like he loves you and tells you then you shouldn't have anything to worry about, but you could set him down and say " you know it makes me feel really good when you tell me you love me and i know you do, so could you say it more to me. Im sure he wouldnt mind. Sometimes it's nicer when he shows he loves you. I wish you luck.

maYBE this is just his personality,as long as u know he loves u,try n live with it. i know alot of guys n girls that are not verbal about their feelings..its just hard for them yo say it..its just like people who never show physical affection in public...i would just ask him,tell him it means alot to u...gl i love u

Perfectly normal. Guys are analytic, girls are emotional. He figure you know he loves you because he reasons his actions show it. This is true.
