Ice pack the first 72 hrs. on 20 min. off 1 hr. Heat after that and light exercises with some massage to the area to get the blood there. Hot soaks in Epsom salts and very warm water. Advil and rest. Good luck.

ice pack the first 2-3 days... then heat... and try and relax... mine usually go away in 2-4 days
