Go to your local gym / Y. Usually they'll assign you a trainer, at least for the first 30 days (liability concerns here). They'll know what to do.

Personally, I'd suggest swimming laps, but since I can't see a pic of you, I'm only guessing. Besides, you might not like swimming, or can't swim, or get ear infections, etc.
