This was a good question...the answers lack a lot.....
How old are all of you people? This amazes me...We as a nation should have pride in our country and ya'll sit here in judgement...Hussein was involved with Osama they found checks that passed between the two....They danced in the Streets when the Trade Towers were hit ......Innocent People died who never hurt anyone.... stop putting our country down, don't have you no pride at all!
Try to sit back and imagine being under someone like Hussien, and unless we fight the evils..they gonna waltz right over here and take over....get a backbone..and stop bellyaching......
War is War, it involves deaths regrettably.....
Our Soldiers are Hero's...
My Mom useta tell us as kids.and i'll pass this on to you...."If ya don't have anything good to say, then don't say nothing at all".....

Since World War 2, we have had troops in Germany, Italy, France, Japan, and England. since the Korean War in early 50's, we have had troops in South Korea. Every time the US gets involved in a war or conflict, except Viet Nam, we have stationed troops there.
In Viet Nam, Congress, decided, kind a like now, that THEY should run the war cause they didnt like the way the President was doing it. We would bomb one day, stop for two or three days or months, then bomb again. Hanoi would cry foul and the bleeding hearts in Congress would stop the bombing all over again. The North, with the stopping of the bombing would hassle in SAM missiles, so that when we went back to bombing, we lost airplanes.
Congress is not in the war business. They need to but out, fix Social Security, Fix the nations laws to include the tax laws, and let the Military do the fighting. Any time you limit or restrict the military in doing their job, we will lose. When you change the rules of engagement, we will lose. When you have a ruthless, brutal enemy who takes out innocent people without remorse or regrets, unless the troops are allowed to do their job, we will lose.
This is a Viet Nam all over again, but not like they are thinking and talking about. CONGRESS would mess up a one car funeral and need to butt out and let our troops do their job.
Go in, kill terrorists, train the Iraqis, and get the hell out.

So you must not follow the news nor the media. Shame on you cause otherwise you would know the answer to this question.
i know I am not a Bush supporter nor a supporter of the war. But make no mistake it would be not wise to leave such a young, democratic government like that as Iraq is in that position. If we would withdraw the Qlquida folks would be back there in a hurry. And Iraq's would suffer again. Nevertheless, we must finish what we have started or the world will laugh at us for being such idots.

it is not okay to pull out...and no because of some sappy bring the worst form of government to the world...The U.S knows that as soon as their troops leave someone else will come in...Al-quida or the insurgents will seize the country. It is the middle east...Democracy cannot possibly hope to exist in a region where quick decisions are the very stuff of life. Which democracy cannot possibly do. It is only by virtue of U.S presence that iraq is not already part of Iran after the 2001 Gulf War

yes but then that will give terrorist a bigger advantage of attacking us again and we haven't accomplished anything yet we need to stay there until we get something accomplished so if we pull out what was all those troops that we lost for why do you want to walk away now lets keep fighting till we win and revenge our dead troops

It's horrifyingly simple. We're in a war. That's why we have them there. And if Bush were to pull them out now, that would be the stupidest decision ever.

So is Bush!
We should have never attacked them in the first place as they were not terrorist and were not involved in 9/11!
They were no threat to anyone!
