Straighter ....hrmmm i'm not sure about ....if you have a Z pattern and use relaxer sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide I would definaely DEEP CONDITION once a week ......if you have Curly S pattern you can use Ammonium Thyglogalate or perm solution to do a straight perm....now the softer part and silky......if you have split ends your hair appears more dull and if you color and it is dry it will SOAK the color up.....now that being said....does not mean you have dull dry hair....but if you do a good conditioning treament Queen Helene Cholesteral is good and a good silicone based gel.....smooth and shine is good ....you can get it at FRED's prolly Wal-Mart if you have one there.......try also this product at Sally's .....Clairol's Second Nature or Radiance (in the shine technique)

The cut can make some difference, like cutting off split ends and not being "texturized". What makes more difference is the products used ON your hair. If you have frizzy or curly and you want it straight and smoothe... have them use a relaxer on it. The type of shampoo, conditioner, and finishing products make a lot of difference.

Hair cuts help by getting rid of the split ends which will make the hair have a smoother look. Hair trimming also makes the hair grow faster (by getting rid of the split ends).

Well, cutting it cuts off the dead ends. It definitely can't make your hair a different texture than it originally is. That's what conditioners, perms and straighteners are for.

not really
it's just cutting the hair not
styling it
it all depends on the shapmoo and conditoioners
you use
and if you straighten your hair
or have it permanently straightened.
