ok i am going to be making a trip this summer and we are driving, it will only be me and my daughter , and i want to have gun in the car just becasue i know that we will be out my our self. i need to know what the gun laws are in :

I haven't really had to deal with the gun laws in any of the listed states but California. However, I just transferred from there and I can tell you... do not have a loaded gun in the passenger compartment. The weapon must be unloaded, the ammunition stored in one location and the weapon stored in another.

I've made a career teaching tactical firearms and there is a reason I left the People's Republik of Kalifornia. (Spelled that way on purpose.)

I commend you on your sense of responsibility for your personal safety and hope that extends to obtaining plenty of practice and training. Good luck.

I would get concealed permits that would cover those states
