How do I naturally dye my brown hair to make it redder?

OK, having seen my mom use this on several occasions I'll tell you to use it as well.

Henna.
Usually salons have the henna option, but if you can't find it there try a local indian store.
They usually carry the powder version of either black or red. These will last in your hair for about 2-3 weeks...sometimes even a month.
You basically mix the powder in water (the amount is in the instructions) and apply it to hair while wearing gloves just like you would regular hair dye.
The powder is made from henna leaves which makes it totally natural and chemical free.

Easy, just use Red Natural Henna!
It's a great alternative but your hair gotta be virgin no haircolor or perm before you do that home treatment.

i kinda have that thing too with my hair if it already has a kind of redish tint to it your hair color is prob. auburn. but the bottled color has more red to it but still allows it to look natural. Lorel has a good auburn shade it is called : #R68 Ruby Rush (Rich Auburn True Red) so you can try that. or you can just go to a hairstylest and they and my a custom hair color for you. it is true you can use henna, but that doesnt always work. henna is a "paste" that is originally from india. (i am from there, my parents have done it) henna can be found at most indian grocery stores.

you can bleach.. but i hate that

I have no clue if this would work but there are shampoo for red heads and if you get the right kind I bet it will tint it red.... (don't get suave)
