There are some EXTREMELY expensive hotels in the world, and truthfully, I am not sure that any one stands out as THE single-most expensive.
However, there are rooms at the Ritz Carlton in NYC, and the Waldorf Towers, and some beach resorts in Hawaii that go for over $5000 a NIGHT.
When I got married, we had the reception (and ultimately) stayed in a room at the Hawaiian Village that normally rents for $3500 (although we didn't pay that much for it). It was really something.
