i am around 16. I would say i am pretty bright but i still got to sylvan leraning center. my hours are almost over butmy dad says if i want to i can continue for extra brain teasers and whatever. i am willing to but they are now gonna charge him 100$ per week

If you feel like you can do it on your own, try it. Sylvan will always be there if you want to return, right? They're not going anywhere!
Why not say, "I want to try on my own for two months, and then decide?"

If you are making progress but feel you have more that you could learn to Sylvan, the $100 a week will be a good investment.

If you feel you have not made any progress, then don't continue.

Money spent on education is not an expense, it is an investment - an investment in your future. You are to have a father who cares so much about your education!
