As a native born and raised in LA, I love it, and I don't care what others think cause they haven't lived here long enough to truly appreciate the best that this city has to offer.

I spend half of my time away from L.A., and I feel so free when I leave. It's just so nice to know that there are places with "elbow room", and warm ocean water, grass that stays green all by itself, trees that become magnificent in the autumn. And to see what people call traffic jams in some cities! They would never be able to even fathom the traffic in L.A. I guess everywhere else feels more real, more alive to me. So, I'm lucky I get to leave as much as I do.

Sorry. I'm among those who feel it's not a real city, just a sprawl,
although there are things there I found enjoyable. But compared to cities like Paris, London, Toronto, Tokyo, San Francisco? No way, L.A.

I actually heard living there sucks for some people, but when I visited Hollywood it was so fun! I enjoyed Universal Studios and Manns Theatre.

Way to many people and I think the 101 and 405 with be the death of me one day.

I visit every chance I get - but couldn't afford to live there. Also, I would miss the snow in winter - I live in Winnipeg.

can't really say i care for it very much, actually. i think it has a lot of appeal for some people but i'm just not one of them. more power to you for loving it though.
