they start with 18 and over unmarried childless males
then on to married no children
next is married with multiple children and so on
I heard that they won't draft you if you're an only son
because if you were killed there's nobody to carry the
family name

I think all U.S citizen can be drafted if they on a certain age by the time of the draft. If the military is short handed, and spread to thin with the reserves, than the President of the U.S can approve that U.S citizen can be drafted.

The military has a wide variety of backups,,,
1st - The Reserves
2nd-- The National Guard
3rd-- Active Recall of those that have a remainder of 10 years,, but have gotten out of the service
If we reach the bottom of the barrel and need the draft,, then we are in deep trouble

First they call in the reserves then the draft.

There can only be a draft if there aren't enough soldiers.
We have plenty.
See unlike the 60's and 70's, we don't have a lot of cowards now a days.

i just learned about this in school today. only men who are 18+,not in collage,not to old,and no med problems can be drafted. the good news is that the us dose not have a draft(yet :-( )

i might want to imagine so, i don't believe of He might want to run to Canada and conceal like a coward. He suggested to obey the guidelines of the land, render to Cesar's what's Cesar's and to God what's Gods. i might want to imagine being drafted might want to come less than that!!

there are some kinds of laws out there, but guess what, that is easy to change, so everyone is in danger, no matter though, all you have to do is go to jail, YAY for free living!
