Baby, parents are not perfect we mess up to. I am sure your mom only want the best for you but sometimes what we think is the best thing, it really is hurting our kids. I think your mom should let you out the houes before you start rebellion and get out there and start making problems for yourself, and I know she don't want that. Try to talk with her but before you do that pray to God and ask him for understanding in the both of yall and peace and happiness that the world can't give.

If that means 42 weeks or 4 to 2 weeks. But if that means 42 weeks darling you need some air I have a 18 year old and I could never see that happening. You really need to figure out a way to talk to your mother and try to find out what the problem is because there is a defiant problem. But if that means2 to 4 week you'll be okay and it should end soon.

I lived that life. Only I did not have a computer or t.v. and we lived in the country. When mom would go to town She would lock me upstairs untill she came home. At the time I thought it was normal, now it is hard to not feel angry about all that I went through but all parents are diffrent and I just try to be the best parent I can be and I dont often see my mom.

Parents can be strict to kids but to a certain degree. My parents wouldn't let me date and I was 18 going 19.
I don't know how old you are; but if you're too young - they are being protective of you. But if you're a teenager, they should let you have some freedom; they still need to know who you go out with and what time you should be home, etc.
Talk to them and explain your feelings; assure them that you are responsible at your age. Good luck, honey!

I think you guys should try to talk it out. It sounds like she may be behaving a little overbearingly, but your best bet would be to try to talk to her, and if that doesn't work, the two of you could always go to a shrink together. A bit of moderated intervention never hurts any relationship.
