It strictly refers to penetrative sexual intercourse in which a penis comes right into your vagina and penetrates the hymen, breaking it in the process. Once that's broken, you're no longer a virgin and never can be again.

Penetration of your vagina by a penis is the true definition of losing virginity.
But other penetration can break the membrane--called a "hymen" that is considered to be your virginity (wrongly, I might add, since it can also be broken by vigorous exercise or the insertion of a tampon).
Anyway--if you are asking this, you are FAR too young to do it! Go have a talk with your Mom or a trusted Aunt or sister....or even a teacher!

Strictly speaking, it refers to having penetrative vaginal intercourse for the first time. Don't be in a hurry to do that, because you will probably regret it if you lose your virginity with the wrong person or do it too soon. Good night!

Well young pup traditionally for girls it's when the hymen is ruptured or vaginal sex. oral and anal are used by some of the young uns to preserve the hymen for their true love. For guys it's when you have vaginal sex is the traditional bench mark for manhood. Though anal sex is considered a modern bench mark. Oral is just glorified foreplay.

I don't understand sex is sex But if you mean oral or penetration well there both really in the same category as sex.

We typically consider a virgin to be someone who has not participated in the act of sexual intercourse.....usually vaginal intercourse, from my understanding....so I guess you could try anal, yet still be considered a virgin in some sense of the word.

it means you have done sex and broke your hymen if you are a girl
for boys you just have sex and break a girl's hymen..etc etc
