See if they'll let you take a defensive driving class instead. It's usually cheaper than the ticket and it can keep the ticket from going on your record.
And next time, drive more carefully, cars can be very dangerous and you need to respect that. Especially nowadays. Where I live people get shot over less than that. If you're out driving like a jerk and you nail me with your car you better hope I'm down for the count because if not I will get out of my car and teach you a lesson myself like the Irish girl I am.
Cars are fun but they're not toys. I need mine to get to work, to make a living. I bust my @$$ to have my car so I can be a decent member of society, pay my bills and all that. People really depend on their cars. You wreck all that for someone and they won't exactly take it too well. Worse yet, someone could get killed. If not you, then you'll know for the rest of your life your speeding killed someone else and how are you going to live with that on your shoulders? Be safe, and be more responsible with those thousands of tons of steel.

gurl u already got bad points stop speeding now think about ur safety and other plls safety just pay the ticket its just a few points ok calm down when u get a third speeding ticket then u ll have a bad license honey chill

If you live in the UK, reply to the ticket and say that your Nigerian friend who was on holiday here was driving your car that you let him drive for the day, but unfortuantly hes gone back to Africa the day after he was speeding.
Give a stupid fowarding address somewhere in Africa and trust me, it will be the end of it.
Speeding fines apply to a person and not the car.Same goes for a Parking ticket....

The best thing to do is pay it as soon as possible if you were indeed speeding and then do not get another ticket! Quit speeding.

Pay it. Don't bother fighting it. All the stories that your friends tell you are lies. The officer would not write you a ticket that wouldn't hold. If you fight it, you run the risk of the judge giving you a bigger fine.
Just pay it and keep a better look out for the hi-po

Check with the DA or PD and ask if you can take a Defensive
Driving Course and have the ticket cancelled...

actually I just found out a few weeks ago that if you just simply pay the fine plus a couple of dollars extra they will send you a refund check for the couple extra dollars you sent them. DON"T cash it!! Your insurence will never hear of it because they can't make it public until all loose ends are closed. try it it works pass it on!!!!!!
