Don't give your cat any medicine unless the Vet approves it. The chemistry of cats and people are very different and you can kill your cat real quick. On the other hand cats can take some meds that could seriously hurt a human. Tylenol will kill a cat found in allergy medicine. Please be careful.

The cat my family had when I was younger had allergies and the vet gave him allergy shots which seemed to do the trick in making him feel better. I would say to consult a vet. They know best what to do in most cases.

Absolutely. Veterinarian prescribed allergy medicine. A relative of mine has a cat on allergy medicine. DO NOT self-diagnose or self-medicate the cat - bring her to the vet. Good luck to both of you. : )

Hi there...ONLY if prescribed by a veterinarian. Nearly all human medications can be fatal to cats including allergy medications as cats cannot metabolize them like humans or dogs. Dosage administered is based on age, weight and the cat's overall health condition.
