no your wrong it is 'mexican'. I know people from Cuba, Puerto rico and Spain who can't understand mexicans. Its its own dialect and using the word mexican as is appropriate.
No mayan is mayan .look it up. mexican might not be an official name, but its as good as any.

sociald, It's still Spanish. Even Spanish varies from country to country, that's why People from other countries sometimes don't enderstand some of the verbage used in other countries even if it's the same language. The only real "Mexican" language would be Mayan, Aztec, etc, native to Mexico. So stop being such a moronic expert without knowing what you're talking about. From what I see you don't even speak the language, so what would you know?
