You've got to get enough in there to do the job. I think Bush is taking the Dems to task. A bunch of them have been saying we don't have enough troops to do the job. Making them vote on it is a semi-shrewd political move. Meanwhile, expanding operations elsewhere (Somalia, Indonesia, Phillipines) will help make the case that this is but one front in the war on terror. It would be nice if the terrorists would just stop and leave us alone, but that's just not been happening.

I personaly don't think any troops should be over there in the first place, sure i'll probably get some thumbs downs for this answer, but in my opinion, this could have been resolved by now, and bush couldnt care less who goes over there and doesnt end up coming home.. I think HE should go over there and fight, meanwhile he sits back and enjoys his show. I think he's a sick man! but thats just my opinion. I just don't think the war is necessary. Good luck on your answers. sorry if I've offended anyone.

why should he. He has no right to. we went over to find bin laden and yet we haven't found him and they dn't even know if he is really alive or not. why keep sending troops into iraq if the guy we are really over there for may not be alive. How does president bush even know what he is doing. he is making america into a target spot for terrorism

I feel awful about it. The plan was formed by many experienced high military authorities and researched by credible individuals with much knowledge in the area of warfare. My hopes are that they are right, and going in with more troops will help. My heart goes out to all the military men and women, along with their families, facing this decision.

I feel just terrible about it, that man is so stupid, the sooner we impeach him the better. This country has gone further down the drain over the last 8years. He just wants to conquer Iraq and dictate it, that is all.
He's like Hitler. He should go smoke some more dope.

I feel just fine about that and I think his daughters need to get off their butts and suit up since we live in a liberated age. And Cheney's (well now she's knocked up so cut her some slack) but those Bush twins need to get some real blood on their hands and make the old man proud, ya know?

Deja Vu. "It will only take a few months, promise! It won't be years and years, promise!"
I don't think it will make any difference except cost the taxpayer billions more.

It breaks my heart to know that more young men and women will be in harms way. It makes me very sad.
