Now I'm trying to use thyme and parsley - herbs - since I think they smell pretty natural and hopefully the cat will like them too.

I have used plain baking soda, but I think I will mix in a few herbs for a natural scent.

I don't have to use litter deodorant. They are bad for your pet. I use a cat litter that is good for your cat and the environment. Try http://www.swheatscoop.com/ It is the best thing I did for my babies. It is also Biodegradable and doesn't smell. It is a natural deodorant. Try it!

Arm and Hammer makes a litter deodorizer separate from their brand of litter that is simply amazing. Not too perfumey or too strong, but it will immediately take the odor away when you pour a little on top.

Find someplace that has this, or order some over the internet, you'll be glad you did!!

Arm & Hammer makes cat litter. I have 2 cats & since I have starting using their litter, I have had visitors say they didn't even realize I had a litter box. I live in a 750 sq.ft. apt, very small area & no problem with the litter box.

Hi there... we used baking soda when we had litter boxes, which worked quite well. However now the kitties use the human toilet and flush. ;-)

If kitty likes it then use it.
