my friends think it is pretty wierd, and the one girlfriend i have had in my life left me because of it. but i have tried using regular underwear and it is just not soft enough. can anyone give me any advice?

Regular underwear is "just not soft enough". Why the heck not? You should be able to find some regular underwear that is soft enough for your liking. Go expensive if you have to. Search around and find that pair of undies that you can tolerate!!!!!!
When you wash your undies make sure you use plenty of fabric softener on them and put them in the dryer with two dryer sheets.
Trust me, regular underwear IS soft enough. Keep looking for a good brand and spend a bundle if you have to! Its worth it.

If you're not soiling your pants, there's no reason for you to wear nappies. It's a bit immature and strange to be honest. If it's simply a matter of regular underwear being uncomfortable, try wearing boxers instead of briefs. I wear Hanes ComfortSoft boxers (US, I don't know if they're available in the UK) and they make my nether region feel like it's in heaven. They're very soft (as the name suggests) and very loose fitting. If you should choose to follow my suggestion, make sure that the waistband is only elastic, with no bunched fabric, and that the boxers are soft, sort of heavy knitted fabric, not light knitted fabric. No, not 'wrong.' Strange, unusual, weird or odd are words that might be put to use in place of it though.
Why wear any underwear at all? ....though I do suspect that your question is really a wind-up and that you are really just stirring the muddy waters to see what floats to the surface ~ you naughty lad you.

Um weird and yeah I could see how the chick bailed on a dude who is 26 and still needs diapers. You should go to the doctor if htere is a physical reason for you not being able to wear normal underwear. If it is just the preference.. silk boxers are soft, or jsut your standard cotten undies.... but ditch the diapers

2-If you mean women's underwear you need to see a doctor fast, maybe not as fast Answer 1 above.

The thing to do is go and see your doctor and get your problem sorted out otherwise if you don't you will end up being poorly.
In answer to a couple of peoples question a nappy is a diaper.

It's a diaper..some people are into that sort of thing and others think it's weird. Maybe if that's who you are, you just need to find a girl who accepts you. You shouldn't have to change for people. Not unless you truly want to.

what is a nappie i tried to look it up but all i was things about taking a nap.. as for the gf.. she did not love you enought to accept you they way you are.. if i love someone enought i would not care if they wore a diaper

Ummm not to sure what anappie is, but it does indeed sound worng if its what I think it is! I would def. recommend tring some other super soft material...your love life depends on it for gosd sakes man!!!!
