Yes. All the time. I have been doing it all my life. I had a discussion with group of people before about how we all learn or concentrate, and a lot of people have to chew on something, pull their faces funny or bite their lip and a lot of people also have to eat something while they study.

Usually I hold it between my index and middle fingers and wiggle it back and forth really fast. It drives others nuts, but I get a bit of exercize!
