In the restaurant where I used to work, the average food to alcohol ratio was probably 60/40 or 65/35. This question is very dependent on the location, though, because of difference in prices of food, drinks, etc.

As a frequent diner, I would guestimate between 50-50 to 60-40 food to drink ratio.
