It all depends on the situations surrounding that selfish person and how selfish they really are. If they're young... then sooner or later there's a big chance they'll grow out of it and realize what a jerk they were. But if they're old and set in their way.... that may not happen.
All you can do is make sure you don't emulate any of their undesirable qualities. Be the best person you can be... that knowledge that you're doing your best is priceless and will help you not care so much about what other people choose to do with their lives.

By the time they realize they were selfish it's too late.
It would be a miracle for selfish to become un selfish.
Chances are they would have to experience hurt before they understood another human and became less selfish.
Most likely they are what they are.

I have seen some selfish people who are doing very well. One thing I can think is that they may lack true friends and people eventually find out. They can always find new people to take advantage of though.

Yes. At least to someone I know. It took a long time to happen and when it did happen, it did not feel as good as I thought it would. I kinda felt sorry for the person and a lttle guilty for wanting the revenge.

I think that God sorts everything out in time. For instance, my sister was a rather selfish person, and she had a kid. She had no choice but to be unselfish. Everything will work out...

They might take a moment to wallow in self pity, but if they are truly selfish, they will justify what they did to themselves.

No. Selfishness itself implies inability to see around, because you're so busy seeing yourself only.

Not so much time, but being knocked around by someone who is more selfish than they are.
What goes around comes around.

if you are strong enough to stay silent and wait for them to collect their head and thought to come forward and admit their mistakes ,or if they are lower then that and take advantage of your silence give them a time frame then confront them ,or get people they are not so arrogant with to confront them.
Good luck hate liers
