I want to cut sweet potatos thin and dehydrate them, how long would they have to dehydrate for?

My mom herd that dehydrated sweet potatos make a good dog treat and I want to try them for my dog.
Has anyone herd if sweet potatos being good for dogs?

I steam my sweet potatoes until just tender and then dry them for 7-11 hours.

I have a show Pekingese who needs to be on a vegetarian diet for a skin condition.The vet suggested quioa and sweet potato. He is doing VERY well on this diet!

PLEASE dont quote me on this,
at least 8 hours. Look at them every now and then if they are turning white take them off.

HINT for every oz they are its 1 hour. With the exseption of Pineapple thats 6 hours top!

yes i have heard if it but i really dont know how long to dehydrate them for i have just bouhgt them at trader joes

I don't know how long, but you should dry them until they are pliable, don't dry them until the get brittle!
