Remember Iraq did not do 9-11 in the first place. No Iraqi people were involved with 9-11. Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction "and" was no threat to the USA. So.......We should not be in Iraq. 70% of Americans are against the Iraq war. We will lose Iraq just like we lost Vietnam.

9/11 had absolutely nothing to do with Iraq. It was payback for his daddy's conflict with Saddam. It was like 23 of 29 of the 9/11 attackers, or whatever, were from Saudi Arabia, who , of corse we can't go to war with because we're kissing their butt for their oil. (I'm not saying it's the whole country, but if we were really going to war over 9/11, then it should not have been with Iraq.)

So we have a problem. If we don't do anything about the attacks on the U.S.A., Americans will be angry, plus everyone will think that if they bomb us, we won't respond. So we hear this RUMOR from our "intellegence" (we are later going to blame the Democrats for this false information) and demand to be allowed into this country to search WHERE EVER WE PLEASE, AND THEY HAVE NO SAY b/c we're bigger and badder than they are. They agree to let us search some places, not all (we wouldn't let anyone search the Whitehouse, for example), and we take that as a sign that we need to go to war b/c they are DISOBEYING us, the King of the World.

We go to war and call it the war on terrorism to satisfy everyone, while these people in THEIR country see us as the terrorists for killing their husbands, wives, sons, daughters, whatever, b/c they were SUSPECTED of being a part of some part of a group which we can later say: Whoops! We made a mistake. He WASN'T part of a terrorist group.

The 20,000 troops that Bush is sending now, we needed in the beginning, if there was an actual point of this war. We're sending a little at a time, and they all die in vain.

While I under no circumstances agree with the war, I don't think we can simply pull out. We need a plan better than 'stay the course'. We need to give these people a chance to stand on their own instead of changing their ways completely. I say we need to stay a little longer, but work on getting out. Workon cleaning up our own mess. Maybe try and change their view of us, so THEY don't try to attack us once we pull out. Maybe we should try and give them help where they want it, not where we think they need it. If we contiue like this, however, they don't like us already, they might try to hurt us for forcing them to do things against their will, or change their way of living. If we don't move ahead, instead of backward, there could be an tragedy similar to that of 9/11, and they would see it as protecting their country and themselves, not as terrorism.

We have to stay. We caused the damage in Iraq and we should stay there till we clean up the mess. We cannot just draw our troops out and say to the Iraqi people, you clean this crap up. 911 does not even correlate with the Iraq. we have no proof whatsoever that the former Iraqi dictator had plans to blow up the US.

IF ITS SAID ONCE, IT SHOULD BE SAID AT LEAST ANOTHER HUNDRED TIMES. BETTER THERE THEN HERE. AS LONG AS THEY ARE CONCENTRATING ON IRAQ, THE LESS TIME, MONEY, AND MANPOWER CAN BE SPENT ON ATTACKING OUR FOLKS HERE AT HOME. THIS IS NOT VIETNAM. THE VC OR NVA DIDN'T HAVE THE POWER, ABILITY, OR INCLINATION TO ATTACK US AT HOME. THIS ENEMY IS CONSUMED BY IT. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES AL-QUIDA HAS TO SAY IT FOR FOLKS HERE TO BELIEVE IT. I GUESS THEY NEED ANOTHER REMINDER LIKE 911. ITS SAD IF IT WASN'T SO TRAGIC. THE FIGHT WILL GO ON WHETHER WE WANT IT TO OR NOT. THE ONLY VARIABLE IS THE PLACE IT GOES DOWN. IT WILL BE A HARD LESSON TO LEARN FRAUGHT WILL WIDESPREAD DEATH AND DESTRUCTION RIGHT IN OUR OWN BACKYARD. THEN MAYBE WE WILL TAKE IT SERIOUSLY.

If we leave, I am sure there will be another 9/11. But worse, and then we have to go back and fight again.

I wonder how long it will be the next time until people start whining about it.
Maybe they won't if it is there friends and family killed in an attack.
