Martin Luther utilized the latest and greatest of innovations at that time - the printing press. It was the most rapid and inexpensive way to communicate to the masses at that time.
Today? He'd utilize the internet and any other forms of mass media to get his information across. Whatever is the quickest, gets to the most people, and costs the least.
