You should be more concerned with your body composition (muscle mass vs. body fat), as muscle does weigh more than fat. When you begin a new exercise regimen, it's common to gain weight because you are increasing your body's muscle mass. Don't worry, you're doing the right thing! Having more muscle mass allows you to burn more fat, even when you are at rest. You will be more lean and less flabby. Keep it up!

You're building muscle tissue - and that's a good thing ! Muscle weighs more than fat, so although you're definitely burning fat with your workout, you're replacing it with muscle tissue, so it seems as though the weight isn't coming off.

Keep on with what you're doing, and you will eventually lose weight.

*Congratulations!*

You could be gaining muscle mass which is a good thing.
Muscle weighs more than fat.
Check the inches you've lost, don't use weight alone to guage how your doing.
