è¿æ´ but I don't know Chinese.
I know because Japanese uses the same character for æµ· (kai) and it means sea. Never trust a Chinaman on Yahoo answers.

"mer"- prounounced "mare," French. You say it with the French r sound that's hard to get without hearing it. "Mer" means sea.
"hai"- pronounced "hi," Chinese. This also has a bit of an accent.
"océano"- pronounced "oh-say-ah-no", Spanish.
