Im getting three female chow chow puppies tomorrow and I need names!! I don't want a really common name (ex: cutie, princess, etc.) I'd like to have some american names but I think spanish names are cute too. So please give me spanish and american names. I'll choose a best answer too!!!!

Make sure that all the names sound distinctly different, so it's easier for the dogs to learn when you are calling them. So although it can be cute to call them rhyming names, you'll probably get all three come running at once.

One theory says dogs decide their name is whatever you say to them most. My suggestions are therefore Down Girl, Off The Sofa, and Hey, Not On The Carpet....

Cleopatra and then you can call the dog Cleo or Ms Cleo-

Lucky is such a great name... you can name the runt of the three lucky

muchacha (which means girl in Spanish) and you can call her cha-cha for short

Chimichanga and then you can call her changa (monkey) that would be pretty kool and funny. Or for short you can also call her Chimi..

I always look for names that can be shortened for dogs because I always find myself running and yelling after them (I live in a woodsie area so I walk them without a leash)

Anyway, good luck and have fun with your baby-girls!

Im a fan of naming pet's after cool places i have been too. Like Miami or Las Cruces (New Mexico) You could pick any state or city or town, it would be diffrent. And you could have a cool story to tell about how you asked this queston and i helped you. ;)
