What percentage of the troops being sent to Iraq in this "surge" will be National Guards?

Will the National Guard be sent at all?

?????? Probably some. My guess is that the "surge" is more keeping some soldiers in Iraq longer than deploying an additional 20K now. It would take months to deploy 20K extra soldiers.

I don't know the percentage, but I do know the National Guard is going. My husband is in the National Guard. He was deployed in 2003 and came home in 2005. His unit was activated again last week. They started processing out this past weekend.
