try to put your hair in a tight pony tail. I have noticed that my hair seems to grow faster when I go though periods of pulling my hair back in a pony-tail (school finals and midterms). Dont know if there is any proof for this other than my own experiences.

our hair doesn't grow any slower than others, you just have to be sure to keep it moisturized so it wont dry out and break off in the process of growing.
