The mission of the church should be to lead it's congregation closer to God.
Unfortunately, most churchs really have the same mission as most governments, control the thoughts and actions of the congregation.
Free-thinking, logical and rational people are a threat to all power hierarchies.

The mission of the church is to equip the members/saints to do the work of the ministry.
The MINISTRY is bring people the message of their salvation in Christ and to help those who are in need.

The purpose of the church is to teach, help and aid the body of Christ. The Leaders of the church are shepards to guide its sheep to Christ. As Christions were all called to speak and preach the gospel. Ultimately it is a place of fellowship.

To help the poor, to help feed the hungry, to take care of orphaned children, to give shelter to those who do not have any, to help marriages in trouble with counseling, to help those who may be afflicted with drug addictions, or alcoholism, this is our mission at Love Outreach Temple I can't speak for anyone else...

To cloth the orphans and the hungrey.Take care of the widows and sick.Spread Gods word with all your heart mind body and soul.Live your life as Jesus would.

Brainwash while young. Keep em hooked by using fear tactics. Drain them dry financially. Force views on everyone else. Limit civil liberties for those you disagree with. Control the masses.
