Yes it does, but you have to do it regularly, and make sure the box says natural light on it; and its a full spectrum light. I don't have this, but my sister does. She uses the light herself.

Yes, in the winter in Texas many people go to tanning booths to stay beautifully golden year round. I am very affected by SAD, and a simple 20-30 minutes in the tanning booth made all the difference in the world!

Yes it does help! I started this when I worked the graveyard shift from Midnight until 8:00 AM the next morning.The winter months were the roughest. My Dr. Suggested a lamp and I was much better.

I have only ever heard very positive reports about light machines. If you are in UK, you can often have them on trial and if they don't work you can return them.
