Sex is as important to women as it is to men though generally we aren't as blatant when displaying our sexuality. Often sadly this type of behaviour is a result of sexual abuse of some sort. You may not be aware of it but something like 80% of women are abused in some way by men during their life time. I'm not trying to get at men here, or suggest that most of them are abusive. I think the ones that are just get about a lot and sometimes the abuse is as a result of ignorance rather than malice.
This may not be the case with our friend but she clearly has issues she needs to resolve, unfortunately she can't face them until she is ready and there is nothing you can do to help her except be supportive when the time comes. Trying to force her to face up to her behaviour is likely to drive her away from you and she probably needs her friends a lot.

Some women. I have seen women just as "jacked up" about SEX as men.
With the barbieization of women and the "ultra slutty look" all the rage, it may seem that way, especially to someone that is younger. I notice you seem quite agitated, is this her effect on you? I am sure a lot of girls are crazy about their dog/cat and happy about horses and those stats would be off-the-charts too. I guess it is your perspective. The world hasn't changed that much. I really think it has always been this way.

well some girls do think about sex ALOT. I had a friend like that, she was always talking about it and wanting it. Every girl is different though.
