And they are a 15 minute walk away...ahhh!! I feel like I'm dying but I can't skip class. Are there any remedies that help flu symptoms when one can't stay in bed all day?

When someone has the flu they should stay at home(or dorm) and get better. After all the rest is what you really need the most. I would first go to the Dr. or infirmary to get an excuse. Take that excuse with you to talk with your professors. I'm sure that they will understand and give you any work that you may miss while resting. The flu can be serious and not everyone wants to catch it. So my best advice would be to stay away from others. Hope you feel better soon....Good luck :-)

If you're really feeling under the weather, then tell your teacher that you can't come to class. But if you think you can make it through, then try going. Hope you feel better!

Contact your instructor and tell him/her that you are seriously ill and cannot make it to class. If you cant reach the instructor before class starts, do so right after class ends. But dont delay.
