There is only one commandment that matters and it's not one of the ten.

The only commandment that matters is Love thy neighbor as thyself.

God's scorecard only has one column - and it's counted in Love.

I try to think of them as being either one of 2 main commandments - 1)Love God and 2)Love your neighbor.

Obviously some of the 10 Commandments are easier to follow than others, like Do Not Kill, while some are harder to follow than others, like Obey Your Parents.

I was never any good at the latter.

I try to follow them all. I am not very good at them though, Jesus said if you hate you are guilty of murder, if you get my meaning. So I am guilty of breaking them all. That is why I need the forgiveness of Jesus, because I would not be Heaven bound other wise.

Most men Christian or not follow or break any one of them at any given time, so what does it matter?

We should try our best to keep all of them. We cannot pick and choose which ones suit our needs. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commands."

All of it.....since there is nothing written about "Thou shall not tell a lie." I guess it is not the same as "Thou shall not bear false witness."

None of them. Some of them I don't "break" (like that murder one), but that's because of MY moral code, not because of what the Bible says.

Really, is it better to not commit adultery because you don't want to hurt your spouse or because some book says you'll go to hell if you do??
