Why because I recognize evolution as a Satanic conspiracy do you automatically assume I'm a Christian? Or that I believe in God? Neither one is true.

I think you should home school and never let your kid go to school. If he, or she, is exposed to ideas at school, there is a serious risk that they will learn to think for themselves.... can't have that, now, can we?

Evolution is NOT Satanic. It is scientific and it has been proven over and over (the skeletal remains in museums should be proof enough).

Why do you think it's Satanic? If you aren't a Christian, then why use the term? What are you trying to prove? Keeping your child away from school because of some ignorant belief that evolution is Satanic is hurting your child more than helping.

Part of learning and growing is being open to new and different ideas even if one disagrees with them.

Perhaps you should go to school with your child and learn and grow at the same time.

Have you discussed this with the teacher and the principal? Perhaps a compromise can be arranged. What is the absent policy of the school? Do you want your child to miss out on other subjects taught that day?

You may get more comments regarding your label of evolution as "Satanic conspiracy." Perhaps some of the responders will debate your label. You can also tell your child that even though this subject is taught in school, you and your family do not recognize evolution. It is o.k. to sit and listen to other points of view. It's part of the learning process.

i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but you sound like a nut case that if i had children in the same school as yours, i'd prefer that you & your children stay home (all the time). you label without consideration for others. you already have your mind made up on evolution without basis. oh yeah? where's your scientific consideration that evolution is not 'god's plan'? suppose you have it all wrong but that wouldn't fit into your plan, would it? satan is behind it all? from the beginning of time, satan has gotten the blame for all human actions & inactions. what ever happened to free thought & will. also, oh learned one, have you forgotten that satan, the evil of evils, was a child of god's, his first son, lucifer (which means 'light'). so any conspiracy of so-called satan might just have roots within god's plan? or is that too much for you to grasp. i feel for your children but fear for their generation 'cause what you teach becomes their philosophy that they bring into the next generation. are they taught to disseminate info on their own or what YOU have taught? scary!

Okay, you should probably talk to your school about their policies and how missing class would effect your kids. Most schools are pretty cool with a parents beliefs, but seriously man........evolution is not a conspiracy or from satan. I don't really buy evolution myself but that doesn't mean that it's some evil force trying to suck you in.....you just don't have to believe it.

I have no idea how science got to be some satanic conspiracy but I imagine if you keep your children home too often you will be in danger of having them taken away.

if you don't care about your child's grades.
not believing in something has nothing to do with an education.
nobody believes in the greek gods and goddesses anymore, yet most social studies/history classes still teach a little of the subjects.
besides, knowing what other people believe should not affect what you believe; how weak is your faith?

You aren't serious? I am a Christian, but I hate to break it to you, EVOLUTION IS NOT A THEORY, it is scientific fact.

Who is to say that wasn't God's plan all along? It makes more sense than to deny something undeniable, such as EVOLUTION.

I repeat, it is no longer a theory, where have you been?

IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD ANYWAY, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU CARE? IF THERE IS NO GOD, THERE IS NO SATAN, YOU ILLITERATE F*CK

Well it's up to you but you child may will probably still be required to pass the tests covering that. You can go and take it up with the school board or look into home school or private parochial school. Good Luck.

Yes, as a matter of fact, you have a right as a parent to write a note to the teacher or principal stating that you do not want your child taught evolution, sex ed or pro-gay materials, and they HAVE to comply. If not, you may litigate. If enough parents started opting their kids out of this nonsense, maybe the teachers would get a clue and decide to do something that might actually EDUCATE the kids.
