It depends......why did he "hate" you in the first place? I'd question why he was being nice all of a sudden. No offense guys, but men can be cruel too. He could be pulling a prank on you or he could have a bet with the guys to see who you'd like first, etc.......You never know. If he genuinely likes you, then he won't be afraid to talk to you and tell you why he didn't like you in the first place.
