Puppies eyes will open around 14 days of age.

Puppies need to stay with their mothers until at least 6 weeks of age, and longer is better. She has important things to teach them that no one else can, so don’t rush placing pups in their new homes just because it is hard work for you.

It usually takes 7-14 days for the eyes to open. You can sell them when they are 8 weeks, but it's alway's better to wait until at least 12 weeks, because they are still learning important things from mom.

Eyes open in about 3 wks and you should never give them away before 8 wks -- preferably 10-12 wks.

pups will be ready to go after you have had them vetted and gotten them their first shots . worming schedule starts early also.. after you have had all the health clearances and shots and you have started them on dog food and properly socialized them - you may start interviewing prospective owners ( you don't want YOUR puppies to end up in the pound) you should also have your health guarantee and spay/neuter contract drawn up. 8 weeks is a good age to allow them to their new homes
