I enjoyed this candy as a kid about 30-35 years ago and I believe it is not produced any more.

I remember that candy!! it was like harden caramel inside and coated with chocolate shaped like a [ ....... ] rectangle on a round stick? yes? to me it was the opposite candy sucker as ( sugar daddy sucker) same shape and paper raper as black cow,
The sugar daddy didnt have chocolate over the caramel &
if you suck it long enough it would soften and be chewable.
We would buy it at the liquor store. Dad would buy beer and us kids would pick one candy like chic o stick, beef sticks & that chocolate candy with crunch on top and cherry inside, they still sell it. the opposite to that was mountain somthing without the cherry inside do you remember the name of that one?
mountain something... now you got me thinking back.
so I would suggest you research the maker of sugar daddy and sugar babies. good luck > jen

well, i do not know anything about that in particular, but it does bring to mind something else that I think you would enjoy. Visit the chocolatefarm.com--- they have chocolate cow suckers that are great. It is a cute business started by a teenage brother and sister. Hope you like it and sorry I am no help for your "black cow sucker"!

unfortunately they don't make them anymore at all but u can get other candies like that on line at TheCandyCompany.com. Good luck...
