Why do people not call when they say they will?

I don't ask them to call me, but they always say, '"I'll call you" but they don't. I think it's lame. I'm not going to fall into a quivering ball of sadness if you don't call me, but I'd rather you just don't do it, instead of saying you will then don't. It is uncool.

It seems to be the easy way out so they don't feel uncomfortable.♪
