Normal as in normal by the numbers? I'd say no since most guys are jealous and don't want to picture you with anyone else. My opinion, though, is that he either digs dirty talk or is envisioning you in a p0rnographic setting, which could very well turn him on (could be into making movies). If this is the case, it makes it alot less weird. You should ask him what he likes about it.

Ah, talking during sex--Many People LOVE It!
One woman I lived with loved it and got MUCH more excited (and exciting) when I talked to her about sex with others when we were making love--especially other women. She wasn't bi, but may have had bi tendencies. She found it very exciting, and so did I.

a) a little insecure and wants to know its the best with him.
or
b) a kinky bugger who like the idea of you having sex with other guys. May be interested in watching you or threesomes.
Swinging is way on the rise so I don't think it's abnormal.

It's totally abnormal. I'm not sure what this guys issues are, but one thing for sure he doesn't want to get close emotionally. He might be gay. Don't do this with your future boyfriends. No other guy on the planet that I know of likes being compared to other guys.

if you and he both like it, its ok though
I think for me a few details would sometimes be exciting, just ideas to try , etc, keep the names and identities out of it for me though, at least during sex, I'd want it to be as much about me as possible, not somebody else, but if she wants to use her memories and have a fantasy sometimes, its legal I think.
