Not a bad point, but your premise is flawed. Several species do not have gender, not just one celled organisms.

Still, I believe in a god and a goddess. :)

I am not a athiest. If I say I believe god who created everythings, will make me discriminate the god power and intellegent. He made people who do not obedient him and those rules are questionable. Those are according to human senses to call out for believers to follow. I really prefer to trust Hindru or Budha who said everybody is god, we should respect each other. If god is a higher level creature, they will have the rules of nature to follow too.

I see you dilemma. Please be aware that the term God in English, comes from multiple (ballpark about 10) terms in Hebrew. Some Hebrew terms are singular, some plural. I believe the asker will find the 'God the Mother' is referred to in Rev. 12. Verse 5 the man child is Jesus. I currently refer to her as Understanding. (Text slips my mind for the moment).

You have taken the wrong meaning about this,we are not made as mirror images of God, but we are made to resemble God`s attributes eg, we have the ability to love and be compassionate also we can be merciful like God, this is what it means to be made in Gods image.

Jewish people believe that god does not have genitalia and thus, incorporate both the masculine and the feminine in one divine being. The reason god is refered to using masculine terms is that hebrew lacks feminine pronouns.
