Make sure you get a two part epoxy, not a heavy-duty one-part paint that claims to be an epoxy. Try looking for commercial grade epoxy used for garage floors in bus terminals and chemical processing plants. Get a non-slip additive to mix into it. If you are going to do it yourself, some of the most durable ones are not available. If you are going to have a professional come in with a crew and power trowels and fume masks they can install the most durable, but at a healthy price.

Applying epoxy used to be tricky, because it was hard to apply and had to be used within 45 minutes of being mixed. Newer epoxies have detergents added to the hardeners. This means that they're easier to work with and can be quickly cleaned up with water. Epoxy tile grout can cost four times more than cement-based grout. However, those less expensive grout mixes last about a year; two-part liquid epoxy lasts forever in sealed containers if not exposed to extreme temperatures.

Just do a search for "Garage Floor Epoxy" and it will send you to a lot of different sites offering tons of of information. The problem is trying to buy it online. Most places you find online are ads for companies who apply it for a business. You can reasearch these sites to find the info you want and go to your auto parts store or paint and or hardware store to purchase what you would like.

Good luck!
