Folks move for lots of differnt reasons.
Becuase a daughter "wants to" is rather low on the list if you ask me.
Just offer to pay for the closing costs, rent or whatever, the moving van costs, and lost wages, - they might start to listen then.

Make a list of all of the bad things in your neighborhood. Also list the things good about the neighborhood you want to move into. Make reasons why you should move. Start light and ask them to consider it. The after a while, come on a little bit stronger.

Most likely in a few years you will finish high school and move out of your parents house. At which time, what will they be doing with your friends?

You really need a bicycle or a skateboard. Moving costs MONEY. How absurd. If they pack up and move for your convenience of being near your friends, what will your next whim be? A sports car?

Not that easy to move I know that you have friends in a different neighbor but you have to understand everything else involved. You are being selfish and need to look at the bigger picture.

They will only move if they think the current neighbourhood IS BAD for you... Is it bad for you? Drug dealers, crime, unsafe etc. Otherwise they will stay. There is also other considerations like housing prices, commuting to work etc. that will be considered in the decision. You are an important concern but not the only concern.

Good Luck...
They aren't stubborn they are the ones paying the rent or mortgage and maybe moving is just not an option.
You can talk to them and maybe find out the reasons.

Well, hon, moving just isn't that easy. It costs a lot of money to move and a lot of time and taking time off work and lots of effort.
They aren't being stubborn. You are being impractical.
