Chicken, Fish,
Salads (you can add canned tuna or cooked chicken ontop)
Egg salad on a pita bread
if you only like fruit in smoothies , then definately continue to get the fruit and dairy (milk) into your body.
Lots of water to flush out impurities.....

Or since you are quite picky....I would suggest seeing a Nutritionist through your family doctor to learn what you can eat that you enjoy but will work in a healthy manner for you to eat right and lose weight.

Also, Walking is great way of losing weight~ Walk walk walk*
Keep on moving* A lil bit goes along way*~

GoodLuck

To eat healthier you need a ton of fruits and vegetables and some nuts. Bread is okay, but not too much of it. You also want to stay away from soda and juices, unless the juice is made from you and naturally made. you also want to eat small portions, so for example if you are going to eat lunch, your plate should have a lot of fruit and veggies and then your protein, chicken, steak, or turkey, or fish, and then a small portion of rice, potatoes, or wheat noddles the size of your palm. Also you could always go online to see recipes and choose your favorite and then go shopping for those ingredients.

I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and what my wife did was completely change my diet around.. I still eat the same foods only in smaller portions, and she changed my greens to meats ratio to favor the greens.. I eat a lot less steaks and a lot more chicken, although I have not graduated to eating more fish.. Everything I eat is now the "Lite" version, and although it was somewhat difficult at first you get used to it after a while... You also have to make sure you read every label you come in contact with.... Hope this helps and good luck..

I'm on a macrobiotic detox. It's extremely healthy.

Yesterday:
- Wheat-free granola with soy milk
- Salad with leafy greens and pumpkin seeds with a little olive oil
- Tofu scramble (tofu, one egg, spinach, sundried tomato, fresh herbs and feta cheese)

Today:
- Wheat-free granola with soy milk
- Steamed broccoli and cauliflower with tofu
- Dinner??

I also eat a lot of fresh, homemade veggie soups and I experiment with different grains like quinoa (which is high in protein) and bulghur. For snacks I usually have home-made hummous spread on rice crackers, and I drink water or herbal tea.
