Yes, the Royal Lahaina's luau is one of the best. Food was excellent, and entertainment was top-notch. During the day, we had lunch on the pool patio at Royal Lahaina, and sat for 2 hours watching whales breach about 300 yards out. Very nice place. If you get into Lahaina town, look for the barbecue shack on the ocean side of Front street near the north end ...... absolutely the best ever!!!

Yes, I have been there, in January of 2003. If this is your first time to Maui you must go to a Luau and the one in Royal Lahaina is the best one!.
If you go in Jan - Feb don't forget to go whale watching, it is something.
Lahaina is the best place to shop on the Island. Have a great time!

the drinks were great but there was no fire dancing. the old lahaina luau had fire dancing and its at this hotel in kaanapali. they were both good!

Yep. They actually have a separate outbuilding that they use for luaus only.

Yes, this is the one I attended..was told it was the best. I have nothing to compare it to, but I was impressed...good food, good entertainment, pretty beach!
